In the past 1 week, very busy and busy...... Finding a suitable journal article for the Journal Club tomorrow!!! At last, I got one through the search on Sunday! But still having have it done with a powerpoint presentation file. Today, would be a very busy and very busy day for me.... As I need to have it finished by tomorrow morning and have it presented in tomorrow afternoon......
Just don't know what's the meaning of having Journal Club every week. The Purpose of the Journal club is for polishing the critical appraisal skills of everyone. However, there was only a limited numbers of Journal articles there are suitable for such meeting (Usually Randomised controlled trials were selected). To me, I think only one session per month is just fine and adequate. Moreover, having too frequent sessions will make everyone to become desensitized and the coming findings will likely to be "no questions, then the end....." Totally make the function to become no use, no use and no use.
